Guten Tag!
Originally from Germany,
I moved to New Zealand in 2019
and fell head over heals for this beautiful quirky little island.
My Photography journey tho has started way back when I got given
my first DSLR camera (around 2015).
Since then Photography has been my passion. I started off doing Portrait Shoots for family and friends, developed a love for hiking and landscapes & wildlife along the way
& have since then explored
a whole range of different photography styles and taken my camera
on some epic adventures.
It’s hard to narrow it down, I simply love capturing moments of all kinds
— from the quiet, behind-the-scenes glances to the big adventures,
like helicopter flights
over mountain ranges.
What started as a way to capture lights/shadows/colours
I found beautiful,
has grown into a way of seeing
and experiencing the world,
discovering new cultures, and learning what moves the people around me.
I’m drawn to the little things just as much as the big moments — the last rays of sunlight kissing a mountain peak, the feeling of being welcomed
into a new culture,
the people who make a place special,
and those moments that happen naturally when nobody’s watching.
My approach is intuitive and natural.
I love images that feel real,
with a cinematic touch
and an atmosphere that lets you
step right back into the moment.
For me, photography is about
more than just a pretty picture.
It’s about capturing how it felt
to be there — creating memories
you can return to
long after the moment has passed,
so you can step back into them and relive them all over again.
